'Peter Pan Live!' TV Show Promo Trailer: Allison Williams and Christopher Walken Face Off in New Video [Watch]
"Peter Pan Live!" is coming soon, and NBC has released the first promo.
The show, which will air on Dec. 4, stars "Girls" actress Allison Williams and Christopher Walken. The promo shows the floors being marked and the sets being put together, and it has an ominous feeling as Walken's Captain Hook walks around.
There is also footage of Williams, as Peter Pan, sitting on a window sill and flying. For a brief moment, Peter Pan and Captain Hook face off.
The promo also shows some candid moments, with Williams waving and having her photograph taken. Walken, on the other hand, was more serious throughout the 30-second spot.
Christian Borle will play Mr. Darling and Smee, Kelli O'Hara will be Mrs. Darling, Taylor Louderman is playing Wendy and Alanna Saunders is Tiger Lily.
The show is being put on by the same people who produced "The Sound of Music Live!," which aired last year.
Williams, 26, met two other actress who have played Peter Pan. Sandy Duncan and CAthy Ridby McCoy were on "Today" with Williams.
Duncan offered her two cents.
"The only advice - cause you don't give somebody advice, she's got her way of doing it, and she's smart and she's surrounded by smart people - we told her to go do it in a theatre somewhere for a month, just for her own thrill of having done the role, and do it with an audience with kids."
A picture of William dressed up as Peter Pan was first released in September. And though she is sporting a pixie cut, it is all fake.
Williams did offer to cut off her long locks, but she soon learned that it didn't matter.
"I sort of very tentatively offered to cut my hair, I was like, 'You know, if it's a thing that would help I could cut my hair,' and they were like, 'You're welcome to do that, we're still gonna put you in a wig.'"
