Angelina Jolie and hubby Brad Pitt are hitting the big screen as husband and wife again for "By the Sea," and Jolie has gone blonde for the project.

The 39-year-old actress was spotted wearing a honey blonde short hairstyle with bangs, People reports.

Jolie has gone blonde for other projects in the past. She was blonde in the 1999 "Girl, Interrupted," for which she won an Oscar's for the role. She also wore a lighter shade hairstyle in the 2000 film "Gone in Sixty Seconds" and in 2002 for "Something Like it."

"By the Sea," written and directed by the natural brunette herself, also stars her 50-year-old husband as the man married to the woman she plays in the movie. In her role, Jolie plays a former dancer that is on vacation in France with her husband. The scene she's in takes place in the 1970s as she embraces her husband in Malta.

The couple, dubbed as Brangelina, has not collaborated on a film since 2005 when they first met on the set of "Mr. and Mrs. Smith." At the time, Pitt was still married to Jennifer Aniston.

After they spy comedy, relationship rumors were confirmed, and Jolie and Pitt have remained a couple in real life, hopscotching with film projects so there could always be a parent available for their children they raise together.

Almost 10 years later, the two are returning to the big screen as a married couple. Despite the decade-long romance and marriage rumors, they two are only newlyweds; they recently married at their French chateau. They had a small intimate wedding with only 20 friends and family members, and their six children all played a role in the big day.

Back in 2011, Pitt said on a red carpet in Cannes that he would like to work with his beautiful wife again, even though they practically do everything together already.

"By the Sea" is set to release in 2015.
