Manuel Mijares was Sunday's guest judge on "Va Por Ti," and he dropped by at a particularly tense time in the competition.

Host Galilea Montijo brought out last week's bottom three: Fernando, Geissie and Stephanie.

Fernando was saved by the audience's votes.

Team captain Dulce Maria coached both Stephanie and Geissie, so she anxiously awaited the results. After the two sang once again, Stephanie was saved by the judges, which meant Geissie was eliminated.

Dulce gave Geissie words of encouragement and also talked to her team. Sitting at her seat, she was clearly affected by the elimination.

The episode was set around duels, and Fernando and Ana Cristina kicked off the competition. The two went head-to-head with Ana Cristina winning the round. But Fernando once again managed to impress judge Ana Guzman.

Danny and Espiridión also faced off, and Danny ended up losing.

J Balvin then showed up to perform and add a little fun to the stressful competition.

Yazaira and Virginia then resumed the duels. Yazaira shared a story about how she has been bullied on social media. The young contestant explained that though there were hurtful words directed at her, she would continue fighting harder, and after having lost two weeks in a row, Yazaira was declared the winner of her duel.

Paloma, who was joined by a "Va Por Ti" backup dancer, went up against Poyato. Though Paloma's performance was flashier, she ended up losing.

Another surprise of the night came when Stephanie received a makeover. Usually, the contestant wears men's suits and no makeup, but by the end of the night, she was in a leather skirt and flashy jewelry.

And just when Dulce Maria looked as though she were having fun, Montijo announced elimination duels. Each person on Dulce's team had to choose who he or she believed was the weakest, and Poyato was voted in. Dulce chose Victor to go in against him, and he ended up being declared the winner.

Then, the process was repeated by Jencarlos Canela's team. His team voted in Espiridión, who ended up going against Raul. The judges saved Raul, so Espiridion went home.

Most of the contestants could breathe a sigh of relief, except for Fernando, Danny and Paloma, who are all at risk of going home.
