Telemundo 'Yo Soy El Artista' Recap: Lucero and Los Tucanes de Tijuana Perform, Boris Izaguirre's Robin Costume Steals the Show [Pic]
The 13 contestants kicked off the most recent episode of "Yo Soy El Artista" by singing a song by Prince Royce.
It was judge Boris Izaguirre, however, who nearly stole the show with his costume. He dressed up as Batman's sidekick, Robin, and even showed off by wearing a pair of small shorts and tights.
Still, the talented contestants weren't going down without a fight.
Jenilca and Joanna showed off girl power by singing Thalia's "Mujer Latina." The two were up against Nat'Lee and Cesar, who sang "Corazon En La Maleta" by judge Luis Fonsi.
Nat'Lee and Cesar ended up impressing Fonsi.
Envee, who has made a splash because of her colorful hair and vintage style, competed against Carlos. Envee sang "Ya Te Olvide" by Rocio Durcal because she wanted to break out of her comfort zone. The singer had lost her voice during the week, so many were impressed that she fought her way back and performed on Sunday.
Carlos decided to sing his preferred genre, which meant he also delivered a strong performance.
Ryan and Pablo, the bottom two from the previous week, had to wait quite a while to find out who was eliminated. Pablo once again won the public vote and was safe. Ryan graciously thanked the judges and viewers for the experience.
Pablo subsequently jumped into competition mode, as he and Susy, his duet partner, took on Cathia and Tairon. Unfortunately for Pablo's team, it was not a good night for them. Susy had also lost her voice during the week, and she wasn't yet in fighting form.
Cathia and Tairon sang the salsa version of "No Me Ames" by Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, which ended up winning over the judges.
The last battle of the night was Aaron versus Stefania.
For this week's celebrity performance, the show kept it in the family, as Mario Quintero, who was joined by the rest of Los Tucanes de Tijuana, and Lucero sang for the audience. Lucero debuted her new song, "Ay Amor."
Pablo, Stefania and Jenilca ended up in the bottom three, but Jenilca was saved by the judges. This left Pablo and Stefania looking for the public's vote to save them.
