Black Friday 2014 Deals: Walmart Releases Ads Showing Flat Screen TV Discounts and Sales
Walmart is one of the first retailers to launch their Black Friday deals for 2014.
The superstore ads are already offering some of the best HDTV prices for this upcoming holiday season. Walmart, best known for its "roll-backs," set out many ads, including one that features a 32-inch HDTV for $168. Many other retailers are expected to roll out holiday season prices on flat screen TVs as well, considering that sales are steadily declining and new draw-dropping prices might bump up the sales.
And since almost so many shoppers make their purchases through the computer nowadays, shopping online will give buyers more bang for their buck. Walmart is offering free shipping on its Black Friday sales for online shoppers with spend $50 or more and for items from their Top 100 Gifts page.
There is also same day pick-up for those who neither want to wait for the delivery guy nor fight through crowded lines.
Walmart will open on Thanksgiving so buyers can get a full head start on their Black Friday shopping. According to Syracuse.com, the superstore opens at 6 a.m. Thanksgiving Day and will remain open for 42 hours. Other retailers will open doors Thanksgiving evening. Kohl's, Macy's, Sears and Staples are opening at 6 p.m, but Walmart is getting the most attention this year because it is opening 12 hours before any other retailer on Black Friday.
A full list of what's on sale can be viewed at Walmart's Black Friday 2014 website.
Some of the offers include a Sony 32-inch LED LCD HDTV for $199, an ultra-slim LG 32-inch HDTV LED for $209, and for the 39-inch ultra-slim, $299.
For the bigger TVs, there's the RCA 42-inch LED HDTV for $289 and a RCA 46-inch LED HDTV for $299.
And even bigger, there's the Sony 48-inch LED LCD HDTV for $398 in the Black Friday online ad.
