Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo participated without limitations in practice on Thursday and will likely play in their NFL Week 10 match against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday at Wembley Stadium in London.

Romo did not play in the team's 28-17 loss to the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday because he failed to recover from two transverse process fractures in his back in time for the match

Cowboys coach Jason Garrett considers Romo's status as day-to-day, but as far as team owner Jerry Jones is concerned, the 34-year-old quarterback will play against the Jaguars on Sunday.

"I'm anticipating him playing, have no reason to think that he won't, and this will be a nice little practice session for him out there today," Jones said on Thursday via ESPN Dallas. "But my expectations are for him to play."

Romo, who has completed 68.2 percent of his passes for 1,998 yards with 15 touchdowns against six interceptions this season, also considers himself as day-to-day, but he sounded optimistic about playing in London.

"We'll see," he said. "I think we'll take it day by day and see what happens as we move closer. It's improving each day. We did some things today that were a positive. If it keeps going in that direction, we'll have a good chance."

The 10-year veteran was limited in practice on Wednesday but was seen throwing passes in individual and on-air team drills. He also participated in their walk-through sessions in the team's hotel over the past three days.

Before Thursday's practice, Garrett said that they have been evaluating Romo's movement in practice, but the decision will be made by Romo and the medical staff before Sunday's game.

The Cowboys fell to the second spot in the NFC East standings after losing their last two games.

Jones, whose team holds a 6-3 record, said that there's no point to hold Romo out if he feels ready to play because every game is crucial.

"Invariably any time you do lose one of these games in the regular season, our experience with us, especially these last several years, is we needed every win we could get," Jones said. "There's no such thing as holding him out and forgoing the potential chance that we win."
