In Mexico, "La Malquerida" reached its dramatic conclusion.

The three alternate finales aired on Televisa's website after the real finale was aired on TV.

Alternative Ending No. 1:

This ending starts by showing a body bag, and soon El Rubio is in front of it. He opens it and reveals that Esteban has a bullet wound in his chest.

El Rubio is disappointed and tells Esteban that all that he did was for nothing.

This video doesn't reveal how Esteban dies, but there is a standoff between him and Norberto. Both of them have guns.

The next part of this ending features Acacia trying to move on with her life.

She's going on a trip to Europe with Hector. Acacia doesn't want to go because she needs her mom, but Cristina insists that Acacia needs this. Cristina has forgiven Acacia, though Acacia can't forgive herself for falling for and being with Esteban.

Just as Acacia starts to feel sadness that she'll never see Ulises again, he shows up.

The two confess that they love each other and always have. Ulises tells Acacia that they should try to give one more chance, and the two kiss.

Alternative Ending No. 2:

Esteban holds Cristina and threatens to kill her while Norberto points a gun at Esteban.

Norberto tells Esteban to face him like a man, so Esteban lets go of Cristina and shoots Norberto. And just before Norberto gets a chance to shoot back at Esteban, Esteban points his gun and shoots.

Acacia gets in the way to protect her mother, and she ends up taking the bullet. Norberto shoots at Esteban.

Esteban tells Acacia he loves her, but Acacia is only concerned with getting her mother's forgiveness before she dies.

In the next scene, Esteban is seen in jail, and El Rubio comes to visit him. Esteban asks El Rubio if he has brought what he asked for, and El Rubio hands him a picture of Acacia.

Esteban wonders how he is going to live without Acacia, and El Rubio tells Esteban that this is his reality because he didn't stop his and Acacia's forbidden love.

Cristina is seen carrying Acacia's ashes, and she's joined by Ulises and Hector.

Hector wants Cristina to join him in Italy, but she's not sure. The two end up kissing, and Cristina is then left thinking about how she will move on.

Alternative Ending No. 3

Just as with the second ending, the third has Esteban and Norberto face off.

Esteban shoots Norberto, and then he tries to kill Cristina, but Acacia runs up to him and the two struggle with the gun.

A shot is heard, and Esteban tells Acacia that he'll always love her. He then falls to the floor, and Acacia runs to her mother to ask for forgiveness.

Cristina forgives her and dies.

Acacia is holding her mother's ashes, and she walks out with Ulises and Hector.

Hector tells Acacia that she should come to Italy, but she tells him that she can't leave her grandparents at a time like this.

She and Ulises are left together, and the two talk about how much love they feel for each other. But the two decide that it is not the right time for them to be together.
