Black Friday is always a fun shopping day for Americans. They get up at 3 a.m., stand in line and come out with a big TV or brand new laptop, but is it always worth it? Let's check out this year's greatest Black Friday deals and find out.

TVs:

Well you can pretty much get an affordable TV any day of the year, but Black Friday always has a super cheap, super impressive big screen available.

If you want a 32-inch TV for your bedroom or kitchen, Shopko has a ProScan doorbuster deal for $99.99. It has three HDMI ports, and it's originally $250. Even though it's not a big brand like Samsung, it will work just fine. Remember to buy it with your credit card because most credit card companies offer an additional year of warranty on all purchases. So basically you will get a nice 32-inch TV with a 2-year warranty for only $100.

If you do insist on getting a Samsung, Shopko also has a 32-inch Samsung for $197.99.

Keep in mind these doorbusters are on a first come, first served basis. If you don't have a Shopko near you, visit shopko.com and see if these TVs can be ordered.

If you would rather go over to the big box place (Best Buy), you can get a 40-inch Panasonic for $199.99 (in-store only).

Again, keep in mind Best Buy sells out of these doorbusters quickly.

Video Games:

The best part about Black Friday is that video games are drastically reduced.

For instance, many places are reducing the price of the Xbox One console to $329.99 (down from $400).

Games and accessories too are discounted.

Laptops:

It's best to do your research before buying any laptops on a whim on Black Friday as good discounts do not equal a good system. In the end, many laptops are not worth buying on the shopping holiday because they are outdated or have poor specs outshined by a low price.

Read consumer reports and refer to Latin Post's reviews before purchasing a door buster laptop.
