James Rodriguez and David Guetta Send Supportive Instagram Messages to Each Other
James Rodriguez and David Guetta are apparently big fans of each other.
Rodriguez first sent Guetta, who will be DJing in Colombia on Nov. 14, a message saying that it was a shame he was going to miss Guetta's show.
"Hello, David," he said. "I know soon you'll be in my country for a mega show. What a shame I won't be able to join you, but I know that thousands of Colombians will undoubtedly welcome you with the best attitude. I hope you enjoy yourself."
Rodriguez posted the message on Instagram, and Guetta replied with an Instagram video of his own.
The Frenchmen also spoke in Spanish when he delivered his message.
"Hi James," he said. "Thank you for your message. I am very happy to return to Colombia, and I also have a surprise for you. Keep making goals."
Guetta has been enjoying his time in South America.
Earlier in the week, he was in Argentina. Then, he was in the Desert of Salt in Bolivia. And on Nov. 12, he shared a video of himself riding a train in Peru.
"This is a message for Nation Guetta: Thank you so much for my birthday message," he said. "I was really, really touched. I'm here in Peru, and I just went to Machu Picchu. It was crazy."
As for Rodriguez, he is currently playing with Colombia. His participated in the international friendly against the United States, which took place in London.
On Nov. 14, he shared a picture of himself wearing a Colombia jersey, and he encouraged his fellow Colombians to wear their jerseys.
A few days ago, Rodriguez started posting pictures of himself with his Colombian teammates. In one picture, many of the athletes posed with their arms crossed.
"Joy #unitedbyonecountry," he said.
