Prior to his surgery, the 38-year-old actor, who is married to actress Sarah Michelle Gellar, did not talk about any issues he had regarding his health, People reports.
Instead, Prinze Jr. opted to focus on promoting his latest acting voiceover project, Disney XD's "Star Wars Rebels," in which he voices the character of Kanan.
Though it is unclear what specifically caused Prinze Jr. to undergo the invasive surgery, he did reveal on Twitter that he had been suffering from "disc issues" prior to his surgery.
Prinze Jr.'s current road to recovery appears to be quite successful as the actor has posted several Twitter photos of himself meditating, balancing on one foot, and walking three miles since his initial surgery date ten days ago.
