David Beckham Gets in London Car Crash Leaving Arsenal Game With Son Brooklyn, Poses With Fans After Accident [Pic]
David Beckham, 39, and his eldest son, Brooklyn, 15, were involved in a car crash in London Colney, Hertfordshire, on Saturday, reports BBC News.
The Telegraph confirmed Brooklyn was a passenger in the car at the time of the accident.
The former Real Madrid and Manchester United midfielder was driving a gray Audi RS6 that collided with a silver Mitsubishi Colt Coupe Cabriolet. The driver side door and fender of Beckham's car was dented significantly. The Audi had to be towed from the scene. The Mitsubishi was totaled.
The East of England ambulance service arrived to the car accident on Bell Lane Saturday. where two people with injuries were taken to a local hospital.
The ex-England captain was treated at the scene for minor injuries to his shoulder. Brooklyn was unharmed, Daily Mail reports.
Before the accident, Beckham had watched his son's Arsenal Football Club Academy's Under-16 soccer match at the club's north London training center. According to Complex, Brooklyn recently signed his first professional football contract with Arsenal, where his father played and rose to fame. The father and son were on their way home when the car accident occurred.
The car accident did not stop Beckham from attending the Evening Standard theater awards on Sunday night with his wife Victoria, or accompanying her to her London Store Monday, according to Daily Mail. Beckham looked well and was in good spirits as a group of fans met him outside of Victoria's store. He posed with fans for pictures while Victoria sought refuge in their waiting car.
In October 2013, Beckham was involved in another car accident; he collided with a car while pulling out of his Beverly Hills driveway. He was allegedly driving a black Range Rover Sport with his son Brooklyn, then 14, in the front passenger seat. The father and son were not injured in that accident, but the Range Rover Sport suffered damage, including the bumper hanging off the front of the vehicle.
