On Friday, TMZ videotaped former NBA star Lamar Odom talking to friends, revealing he's "never been better" in his life.

TMZ caught up with the athlete who was exiting Hooray Henry's in West Hollywood. Although Odom failed to directly speak with TMZ paparazzi, he appeared cool, calm and collected on tape as he enjoyed a night out with his friends.

Meanwhile, Odom's ex, Khloe Kardashian, is not doing as well, as she has recently broken up with rapper French Montana, according to Us Weekly.

"Khloe just wasn't ready after Lamar [Odom], and it was getting too serious," said an Us Weekly source. "She respects and cares for him but just wasn't ready."

Following her breakup with French Montana, Kardashian took to Instagram to post a message that, HollywoodLife.com claims, is directed to her ex husband, Odom.

"It's 100 percent about him," a Hollywood Life source said about Kardashian's Instagram post. "For one, Khloe use to always bump Brandy's song 'Almost Doesn't Count.' That was one of the baddest jams back in the 90's and Khloe was into that song. Fast forward to her marriage with Lamar, especially when he started f*cking up and doing his sh*t, she would say, 'Lamar, if you're going to do this, tell me because I can't keep on loving you.'"

Kardashian also addressed her broken marriage during a recent episode of "Kourtney & Khloe Take the Hamptons." During the episode, Kardashian's mother, Kris Jenner, expressed her concern over Kardashian's decision to date French Montana quickly after her split from Odom.

"You have no idea how I feel everyday," Kardashian responded. "If I had my way, I'd still be married to Lamar. Like even right now, today, I wish I was still married to him."
