'Yo Soy El Artista' Recap: Winner Leaves Finale With Contract, Cash Prize and New Girlfriend [Pics]
For the last episode of "Yo Soy El Artista," Lucero kicked off the show looking more formal than usual.
She wore an evening gown as she addressed the crowd at the beginning of the show.
The final five -- Cesar, Jenilca, Aaron, Cathia and Carlos -- sang "Tus Besos" by Juan Luis Guerra.
The rest of the contestants that participated in the Artist School were welcomed back on stage. They would later join the finalists in different numbers.
Jenilca asked her friend Nat'Lee to be by her side for her first number. It was the first time the two were able to sing together, and they chose to sing Tina Turner's "Proud Mary."
Cesar was joined by former contestant Tairon, and the two sang "Rude" by Magic!
Carlos asked fellow Mexican Joanna to sing with him. Mariachi played as they sang "Sombras Nada Mas" by Javier Solis.
Cathia was able to sing with Envee, who had just been eliminated the week before. They sang Adele's "Someone Like You."
Aaron and Stefania may have been close throughout the competition, but the last show was the first time the two were able to sing together. They chose "Escondidos" by Cristian Castro and Olga Tañon. The two ended their performance with a kiss.
Aaron also used the opportunity to get down on one knee and ask Stefania if she would be his girlfriend.
After the first round of presentations, two were eliminated, leaving behind Cesar, Jenilca and Aaron.
Jenilca was right back on stage after finding out she was in the top three. This time, she performed by herself and sang "Lady Marmalade" from the "Moulin Rouge" soundtrack.
Cesar's performance wasn't as flashy. He sang "Corre" by Jesse y Joy and was joined by an interpretive dancer.
Aaron followed, and he received a surprise after taking the stage: Luis Fonsi invited him to join him in concert in Puerto Rico.
After a performance by Lucero and Fonsi, the three finalists anxiously awaited the results. Jenilca found out that she came in third, but the winner wasn't yet announced.
Cesar and Aaron had to sing with Fonsi, and then Aaron was named the winner.
The 26-year-old will receive a contract with Universal Music, $150,000 and other prizes.
The show ended with the 14 Artist School contestants singing "Odio Por Amor," the first song they sang together.
