Professional dancer and "Dancing With the Stars" coach Cheryl Burke is leaving to appear on a new NBC variety show, Us Weekly reports.

Although the details regarding Burke's new show have yet to be released, an Us Weekly source suggests that show will be "a competition reality series and Burke will perform."

Burke also hinted that her new NBC show will teach her something that she's never learned before during a recent interview with People.

"Instead of teaching people how to dance, I need to be taught something," Burke said of her decision to leave the hit ABC show. "I need to feed my brain with other knowledge. This was a perfect opportunity. My contract was very restrictive on 'Dancing with the Stars' so I couldn't do anything else. I've been waiting to add to my résumé now for years."

Although Burke is excited to start a new chapter in her dancing career, she still thanked "Dancing With the Stars" for being an integral part of her life.

"I never thought I'd be able to walk away [from 'Dancing With the Stars']," Burke continued. "But after a decade of something, it's time for me to move on and try something different, to be challenged, to feel inspired. 'Dancing with the Stars' will always be a part of my life."

In addition to Burke, "Dancing with the Stars" judge Len Goodman also announced his decision to leave the show following the conclusion of next season. Goodman, a U.K. native and is one of the show's original judges -- cited the constant traveling between the U.K. and the U.S. as the reason for his departure from the show during a recent interview with Digital Spy.

"I've got my wife, I've got my son, my mother is still alive and she's in hospital -- I've had virtually no time to go and visit her," he explained. "So, I just need a bit of time off to get on with a normal life."
