Argentina Fan Gets Multiple Plastic Surgeries to Look Like Ricky Martin, Still Can't Find 'Perfection,' 'Someone to Love Me' [Pic]
A diehard fan of Ricky Martin underwent plastic surgery to look like the Puerto Rican star.
Fox News Latino reports Fran Mariano, an Argentine young man known for his participation in the show "Cuestion de Peso" (which means "A Question of Weight"), underwent extensive surgery to look like the "Livin' La Vida Loca" singer. Martin's super fan had over a half dozen surgeries on his face to look like him, according to Fashion Style.
"I operated my nose for the fourth time, had liposuction on my cheeks and with that same fat had lipo-transference in the cheek bones," Mariano told Argentine newspaper Diario Show. "Then I took off the nasolabial folds from my face and they were filled with methacrylate as well as in the forehead. Also, I got a touch-up on the chin for the third time, for poor scarring."
Fran is satisfied with his looks now after being operated on for the fourth time.
"I was operated on (last Saturday) with Anibal Lotocki and I'm really happy with the changes that I'm having," he said.
Fran then said that the surgeries were meant to fill an emotional void in him but to no avail.
"The reality is that every time I submit myself for surgery, I deposit many hopes and a lot of pain as well, for all the time that I felt different. However, no surgery fills the void I have," he said. "In fact I have spent all day crying, I think that I seek perfection in me, but I cannot find someone to love me."
Earlier this year, another diehard fan spent $100,000 to look like Justin Bieber, People Magazine reported. Toby Sheldon, a 33-year-old songwriter in Los Angeles, underwent surgery to look like Bieber at age 18. He said he had to get hair transplants, lip surgery and liposuction to copy Justin's six-pack.
