In a battle between two former WWE Tag Team champions, the Usos faced off against Goldust and Stardust in the opening match of the annual WWE Tribute to Troops yearly event, held this year at Fort Benning in Columbus, Georgia.

Although it may not make up for the disqualification ending to their tag team title match against The Miz and Damien Sandow on Sunday, the Usos defeated Stardust and Goldust.

Hulk Hogan and John Cena, the latter still reeling from his Tables match at TLC on Sunday and Steel Cage match on Monday Night Raw against Seth Rollins, as well as getting battered by WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar, came out to do a "Real American" tribute to the troops before getting into an argument with the WWE Tag Team Champions The Miz and Damien Sandow.

Naomi, Emma and Natalya defeated Paige, Brie Bella and WWE Divas Champion Brie Bella in a Santa's Little Helper's Six-Woman Tag Team match.

Jack Swagger, who came out to do a speech in support of the troops, was interrupted by United States Champion Rusev and Lana, who recently sneaked-attacked Ryback prior to his match against Seth Rollins on Tuesday's live SmackDown event.

In rematch from Sunday's TLC match that ended with Dean Ambrose taking the loss on Sunday to Bray Wyatt after getting blinded by an exploding television, "The Lunatic Fringe" beat Wyatt in a No-Disqualification Boot Camp match.

In the main event, John Cena, Erick Rowan and Ryback defeated The Big Show, Seth Rollins and WWE Intercontinental Champion Luke Harper in a Six-Man tag team match. After the bout, Hulk Hogan came down to the ring to celebrate with Cena, Rowan and Ryback.

Country musical act Florida Georgia Line performed live to end the show.
