Pusha T is currently getting ready to release his highly anticipated sophomore studio album "King Push" in spring 2015.

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, the Virginia emcee confidently revealed that he has been working hard on the follow-up to 2013's "My Name Is My Name."

"Aw, man, I'm working on it feverishly," he said. "It's amazing. I feel like the sound will be second to none. And of course you already know the raps will be smacking people all left and right. I've been working on it constantly."

Last week, the G.O.O.D. Music rapper released the music video for the Kanye West-produced single "Lunch Money." He teased that fans can get an idea of where he is musically headed from the abrasive track.

"I dropped 'Lunch Money' to show how far out me and 'Ye are going to go, just sonically," he said. "Now, I feel like people don't know where the hell I'm going to go on the next record. And that's where I want them to be."

"'Unorthodox' has become synonymous with Pusha T's music, even going back to records like "Grindin.'"

"Everybody's gonna be really locked in and shocked to see how I've raised the level of musicality from 'My Name Is My Name' to 'King Push,'" he added.

Pusha T previously discussed "Lunch Money," which he dropped without any notice last month, during an interview with MTV News.

"I feel like I put out a record like this to make a statement," he said at the time of the track's release. "And I'm here to take everybody's lunch money. I really am. It's a competitive sport, man."

The "Numbers on the Boards" rapper also explained what his forthcoming album means to him.

"This next album is like a heavy proclamation to me," Pusha told XXL in July. "I told people last year I had the Album of the Year. And I felt that I did. I really feel that 'King Push' has to live up to that same hip-hop expectation ... My goal is to always have Album of the Year."
