Adrien Broner wants a rematch with Marcos "El Chino" Maidana next year to get a chance to avenge the lone defeat of his career, reports revealed.

Broner, who holds an impressive 29-1 record with 22 knockouts, took the lone loss of his career during his World Boxing Association (WBA) welterweight title defense against Maidana in December last year.

Maidana, who was a heavy underdog heading into their title fight last year, scored a convincing unanimous decision win. Broner admitted that Maidana was the clear winner of the fight, but "The Problem" said that he will win in a rematch.

Since that fight, Broner has yet to get a chance to at least be considered by Maidana for his next fight after the Argentine went up against Floyd Mayweather Jr. in May and September, where he lost in both fights. But now that both of them have yet to finalize their next fights, Broner said that he wants a rematch with his tormentor.

"I got 3 of 4 fights next year, who do I want? I want Chino, Marcos, and Maidana," Broner told Tha Boxing Voice.

However, the 25-year-old former world champion admitted that getting a rematch with Maidana is highly unlikely at this point, saying that his former foe has not shown willingness to face him again inside the ring.

"He doesn't want to fight me, you heard what he said on All Access," Broner added.

Recent reports indicated that Maidana, who has a 35-5 record with 31 knockout victories, recently said that he wants big fights next year despite losing to Mayweather twice this year.

Robert Garcia, Maidana's trainer, said that they are considering several options, but the famous boxing coach did not mention Broner's name. Garcia said that they are looking to face Manny Pacquiao, Keith Thurman or a rematch with Amir Khan, who defeated Maidana in December 2010.

"There are so many big fights out there for Chino," Garcia said. "Keith Thurman is one of them. The rematch with Amir Khan is another. There are so many fights out there. If you ask Chino he wants to fight Manny Pacquiao. It's all up to his management team to do something right, but there're a lot of big fights out there."
