On Tuesday, Dec. 23, Rosie O'Donnell published a free verse poem on her website about her personal experience with sexual abuse and her objection towards Stephen Collins' recent interview with Katie Couric where he confessed and apologized for molesting a number of underage girls.

In her poem, titled "U R NOT 2 BLAME," O'Donnell recalls the first time she met Collins and began developing a cordial working relationship with him.

"i met him first in 97 on my show -- he was promoting 7th heaven a show i watched," she writes. "stephen was on my show many times we spoke often about TM he introduced me to it in fact back in 97."

Although she describes her initial relationship with Collins as a pleasant experience, O'Donnell's positive view of the once beloved actor quickly vanished after she was shown a clip of Collins apologizing for child molestation in a recent interview with Couric, she writes.

"they showed me the clip in the morning 20 seconds thats all i could watch of his apology tour," O'Donnell admits, adding that she was disappointed at how Couric conducted the interview and failed to "expose him for who he was."

O'Donnell then concludes her poem by recalling her own horrific experience of being molested by a man whom she trusted at the age of 10.

Following the tragic experience, O'Donnell writes that she became obese and suffered with severe depression.

At the end of her poem, she includes a series of links for victims of sexual abuse.

So far, neither Collins nor Couric has responded to O'Donnell's poem.

In his 20/20 interview with Couric last week, Collins revealed that his own experience with molestation as a young boy skewed his view and rational of what a proper relationship between an adult and child should be.

"That distorted my perception in such a way that some part of me felt -- I never felt like I was molested. That word never crossed my mind as a 10 to 15-year-old boy," Collins explained. "It was a very intense experience. I think somewhere in my brain I got the equation that, 'Well, this isn't so terrible. This person who I trust is doing it."
