WWE Raw Spoilers, Preview for December 29, 2014: Edge Reunites With Christian to Host Monday Night Raw
Edge and Christian, one of the greatest wrestling tag team champions of all time, return to Monday Night Raw as guest General Managers as 2014 comes to a close.
Edge and Christian reunite as The Ascension gets set to make their debut on Monday Night Raw. Regarded as the best tag team to come out of the NXT developmental system after their long reign as NXT Tag Team Champions, The Ascension is looking to make a similar run now that they are on the main roster. Who will be the first victims to be dragged through The Ascension's wastelands?
Edge and Christian may also have to resolve another problem in the tag team division, with one half of the current tag team champions, The Miz, going out of his way to get under the skin of Jimmy Uso. The Miz has been making promises of fulfilling Uso's wife, Naomi, Tinseltown dreams as he did for his tag team partner Damien Sandow, much to the chagrin of her husband. The tactic has proven to be a distraction for the Uso Brothers as they look to regain the WWE Tag Team Championship from The Miz and his stunt-double. Can the Uso's overcome The Miz's mind games or will the Usos fall into the trap set by the current champions?

One WWE superstar who had a huge year was WWE Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler, who won the title on three occasions in 2014 as well as helped rid the WWE of The Authority (with help from the vigilante Sting). Ziggler managed to find a way to win after being left alone to fend off Kane, Luke Harper, Seth Rollins, Triple H and even J&J Security at the Survivor Series main event in November. Ziggler followed that up by putting on a classic bout against Harper for the Intercontinental Championship in a "Ladder" match at TLC that was an instant classic. How will "The Show-Off" top himself on the last Monday Night Raw of the year?
The war between Bray Wyatt and Dean Ambrose further escalated on Friday Night SmackDown after "The Eater of Worlds" interfered in Ambrose's title match preventing him from winning the WWE United States Championship currently held by Rusev. Ambrose fended off Wyatt's ambush in a brawl that spilled all over the ringside area. After battling in a TLC match, a Boot Camp match and a Miracle on 34th Street Fight match, in what extreme way will Ambrose and Wyatt settle their differences once and for and all?
