Jenni "JWoww" Farley, who came to fame on MTV's Jersey Shore, is going toe-to-toe with New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, who opposes gay marriage.

Christie once nominated an openly gay man to serve on the New Jersey Supreme Court and signed a bill outlawing gay conversion therapy for children; but he also strongly opposes gay marriage. In 2012, the state Senate passed a bill to allow same-sex marriage, and Christie promptly vetoed the bill.

"I am adhering to what I've said since this bill was first introduced - an issue of this magnitude and importance, which requires a constitutional amendment, should be left to the people of New Jersey to decide," Christie said in a statement. "I continue to encourage the Legislature to trust the people of New Jersey and seek their input by allowing our citizens to vote on a question that represents a profoundly significant societal change. This is the only path to amend our State Constitution and the best way to resolve the issue of same-sex marriage in our state," the NJ Governor claimed in regards to bill.

The Jersey Shore cast member, JWoww, already had issues with the state Governor, as he's shown disapproval for the popular reality show and its cast members --even rejecting the $420,000 that was due to the state for Jersey Shore. However, she's said that she has forgiven him for those antics, though she's unable to forgive his inability to understand the plight of those who seek same-sex marriage.

"If you have a problem with two people being in love, and you're against gay marriage, I have a problem with you," said Farley. "What happens between two human beings has nothing to do with Chris Christie and does not affect Chris Christie. What does affect me is when my best friend can't get married in New Jersey, and my best friend's mother, who is a lesbian, can't get married," JWoww stated. "I hope at the end of the day," said Farley, that Christie "sets his personal opinions aside. There's nothing about [gay people] that makes his day bad, makes his day different. They don't affect him living his daily life."

Many have tried to sway Christie's position on same-sex marriage, including openly gay New Jersey lawmaker Reed Gusciora, Chairman of Garden State Equality Steven Goldstein, and Washington state Democratic Gov. Chris Gregoire.

But, he refuses to be pushed on the issue and recently asked the court to consider an emergency appeal in an effort to delay same-sex marriage in New Jersey. The state judge refused, and Christie's administration has asked an appeals court judge to challenge that order.

JWoww, who's promoting the third season of "Snooki & JWoww," warned Christie, "I'm going to come after you.
