William Levy and Elizabeth Gutierrez Relationship News 2015: Sabine Moussier Hints that Gutierrez Turned Down Villain Role Because of Levy
'Que te Perdone Dios' could have been very different, according to actress Sabine Moussier.
Though it was previously reported that Elizabeth Gutierrez flew to Mexico to try out for the role of the villain in the upcoming telenovela, it was later revealed that Moussier would be the villain on the show. It initially seemed as though Moussier had beaten Gutierrez for the role, but it turns out this is not so.
Moussier talked to "Sal y Pimienta" and explained that she wasn't the original villain.
"The character was someone else's at the beginning, and Angelli said she wanted me [but she couldn't hire me because of a block by the company]," she said. "And when this person said they wouldn't be able to do it because of her children, Angelli called me and said 'I want you,' and it was marvelous."
Although she didn't initially name the actress, the "Sal y Pimienta" reporter asked Moussier if she was referring to Gutierrez. Moussier said yes.
Although Moussier wouldn't elaborate more on why Gutierrez chose to leave, sources close to the Univision program have said that it is because of William Levy. The sources allege that Levy didn't want his children to be in Mexico because he thought it was too dangerous.
Gutierrez has mostly taken a break from acting since the birth of her daughter and son, so throughout the children's lives, they have only had to be away with from their father, whose Hollywood career has been taking off in the last few years.
Moussier just said that because of Gutierrez, she is now able to take part in "Que te Perdone Dios."
The team at "Sal y Pimienta" have tried to reach out to Gutierrez to find out if the rumors are true, but it has not heard back from the actress.
