Ballon d’Or 2015 Awards Show: Banda El Recodo Pokes Fun at Lionel Messi's Outfit; Cristiano Ronaldo's Son Appears
Lionel Messi made an interesting fashion choice when he attended the Ballon d'Or award show on Monday.
The Argentine soccer player chose to wear a shiny burgundy suit with black lining. He paired the suit with a burgundy bow tie and a black dress shirt. He also wore a burgundy vest. Unlike Cristiano Ronaldo, who chose a more traditional look with his navy suit, Messi went for something with a little more flair.
Banda El Recodo noticed that Messi looked like he could belong in its band. Banda El Recodo is known for wearing shiny and colorful suits, so on its Twitter page, it shared an image of Messi with a message.
"We present our newest member!! Hahaha," the band said in a tweet.
The image featured with the Twitter message showed Messi in his red suit.

It was in this same suit that Messi met Ronaldo's son.
Messi walked into the same room that Ronaldo was seated, and Ronaldo's son jumps up to talk to him.
"What's up? How are you?" Messi said to Ronaldo's son, as he rubbed his head. "Good?"
Ronaldo then interrupts to tell Messi about his son.
"He's seen a video on the Internet of us and he talks about you," Ronaldo said to Messi.
The meeting was short, as Ronaldo's son immediately made his way back to his father. Though it seems Messi told him something that was not picked up by the microphones.
"Don't be shy now," Ronaldo then said to his son.
The video cuts off but Ronaldo is seen smiling at his son and joking about his being shy. Messi also walks away with a smile on his face.
The video was shared on Tuesday on the 7iNM Football YouTube and has already garnered almost 1.5 million views.
