Verdict

It appears overall the HTC One M8 is a better all-around phone than the iPhone 6. The HTC One M8 features a much bigger battery, two extra processor cores, higher clock speed, double the memory and expandable storage via a memory card slot. Plus, its screen is bigger and made with super-durable Corning Gorilla Glass.

At the end of the day, though, many people buy their phones purely based on brand familiarity and comfort level. If you've owned every iPhone ever made, you'll probably get the newest iPhone no matter what. However, don't make the mistake of thinking the smartphone world starts and ends with the iPhone. The HTC One M7 was an excellent smartphone when it was released, and the HTC One M8 only improved.
