Mortal Kombat X's debut is only 84 days away. The newest trailer is probably the most graphic trailer you will ever see for a video game; the kills look realistic and the blood flows like water. Welcome to Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon's world. In celebration, let's take a look at some of the latest Mortal Kombat X news.

Does Cassie Cage steal her looks from an MMA fighter?

Cassie Cage, a new character to be included in Mortal Kombat Z, looks awfully similar to UFC fighter Felice Herrig. Was this a coincidence, or was it done on purpose?

Herrig showed her Instagram followers how similar Cassie Cage looks to her by putting two side-by-side pictures of her and the video game in one Jan. 15 post.

"After thorough investigation I think it's safe to say #MortalKombatX definitely used my likeness for the video game character #cassiecage," the photo's caption says.

It does not seem like Herrig is mad, though. Instead she seems happy to be virtually inserted into a video game.

Cassie Cage is the daughter of Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade. She has handguns and a nightstick when she fights.

Censorship concerns?

Still 84 days away, Mortal Kombat X is not finished, and if censorship activists and parents get a chance, they surely will try to get this game less bloody and less violent.

Right now, Mortal Kombat X is likely slated for a "Mature" rating in the U.S. using the ESRB rating system, but it very well could get the rating "Adults Only." Very few games get this rating, but Mortal Kombat X looks so gorey that it could.

Mortal Kombat X is slated for a April 14 release on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

What do you think about this game? Will it live up to all its hype?
