Danna Paola Twitter News: Star Says Goodbye to 'Wicked,' Is Rumored to Be Moving to Telemundo
Danna Paola's run as Mexico's Elphaba is now over.
On Sunday, Paola took to Twitter to say goodbye to her character before her final performance.
"The day has come!!" she said. "#AdiosWickedMX!!! Thanks for everything !! Today and always I am a different person because of you!"
Paola was not the only one who was feeling emotional. The young star also retweeted many kind words from her followers.
One user said Paola was the best Elphaba he has ever seen.
"I have seen the play in NY and last weeks in L.A. and no Elphaba has moved me as much as @dannapaola could in @Wicked_MX!!" the tweet read.
Another person also said she was the best Elphaba and that she, unfortunately for everyone else, had her best performance during her final show.
After retweeting many sweet messages, Paola talked more about what the role meant to her.
"For the last time, I feel Wicked," she said. "Thanks Wicked! You are the best thing that could have happened to me."
In another tweet, she said she's never felt more "satisfied or happy" to have accomplished what she set out to do.
"And being able to enjoy my job, I can't ask for anything else," she said. "I will miss you very much Elphaba!!! Thank you for this last show. Thank you!!"

Though Paola has been rumored to have met with television network Ajusco, there are new rumors the actress will be going to Telemundo. According to TV Notas, Paola will be flying to Miami to talk to executives in the following days.
She is supposedly in talks to star in a new show on the Miami network. After meeting in Miami, she is supposed to be in Los Angeles so that she can record a new album. One of the songs on the album should be the theme song to the telenovela she stars in.
