For the first time in Grand Theft Auto history, there is actually a stock market of sorts in the game. Although most people are quite satisfied by simply playing around in as careless a way as possible, the stock market feature adds another edge to a game series that just keeps on growing.

In order to take advantage of what the stock market offers in the game, you will have to either use trial and error to find our what works best or you can simply check out our suggestions and work from there.

Some missions, such as the assassination missions, are prime opportunities to use the stock market to bring in extra money for yourself in the time going forward. It is worth noting that the stock market missions will significantly affect a particular stock and it is important to be careful in doing this correctly and with a required Internet connection.

One way to take advantage of the stock market is to use each character to invest a significant amount of money in a handful of stocks, which are listed below. Once you are able to complete the missions, the goal is to have your characters sleep three times and pass a half dozen hours each. Upon waking up, you will likely find a nice return on all of the stocks and now you have the opportunity to sell them for large sums of money.
