Rockstar has announced new content to Grand Theft Auto Online, the glitch-filled online version of Grand Theft Auto V. Grand Theft Auto Online's $500,000 stimulus package, however, has been delayed.

First for the new content, which will be released early November.

The Beach Bum DLC pack will be the first update released. Beach-themed upgrades like cars, tattoos, hairstyles and clothing will be available. The pack also includes new online jobs. This includes Deathmatch, Parachute, Gang Attack, Race and Last Team Standing missions. The new jobs will be based around the coastal resorts of Los Santos.

Rockstar will also release the first part of the Content Creator app. This will give players the ability to create, share and rate their own Deathmatch and Race challenges. The best challenges will be featured on Rockstar's Newswire page with a "Rockstar Verified" stamp.

Next, is Rockstar's upcoming series called Grand Theft Auto Online Social Club Event, which will take place on weekends.

"[These] will bring special rewards and bonuses ranging from limited-edition, in-game Event Crate Drops to in-game discount specials and even a special new GTA Online live-stream show hosted by Rockstar at the Social Club Events page and Rockstar Games Twitch page - plus prize pack giveaways of hard-to-find GTAV gear and more," a Rockstar release says.

Rockstar is expected to announce two more additions later this week: Capture the Flag mode and major online Heist missions.

The new content is supposed to make online gamers happy. The Grand Theft Auto Online stimulus package, however, was supposed to do the same thing but has been delayed. Rockstar said they would distribute $500,000 worth of GTA$ to players in two $250,000 deposits as an apology for glitches and server issues that plagued Grand Theft Auto Online during its release. Ironically, deposits have yet to be made due to fear of technical issues.

"As mentioned in that post, we of course want to ensure that game progress loss issues are sufficiently sorted before distributing the GTA$ to everyone," Rockstar said in a blog post. "We have a few more tweaks and fixes to make in a new title update that will hit sometime next week and then we will distribute the cash."

Players can expect to see their cash this week after the game's latest update, VideoGamer.com reports.
