Chiquis Rivera is following in Jenni Rivera's footsteps in more ways than one.

The singer was recently spotted going to Children's Hospital LA, which is the same children's hospital that her mother used to visit. Chiquis took the time to address the children while she was there.

"You inspire me," she said while switching between English and Spanish according to "Despierta America." "And I know you do for many little children who are here, much younger than you are. I believe in you, and I'm praying for you and your family."

Chiquis then she made a promise to the children who were listening to her speech.

"Whatever I can do, at whatever moment, I'm here," she said. "I know it's a difficult moment, but you are here for a reason. You have a mission in life, and well, here I am. I'm your friend, and in whatever I can help, here you have me. I'm going to come more frequently."

Jenni touched the lives of many at the same hospital, and her name can be seen inside the hospital. When the "Despierta America" cameras visited the hospital, they showed a flower and a card next to Jenni's name 

Chiquis shared an image of herself spending time at the hospital. In the image, she is also seen posing next to two different boys and her mother's name. Chiquis also thanked the hospital for honoring her mother's legacy.

"It was an honor and a great pleasure getting to know these two boys #RicardoHernandez and #KevinMercado today in #CHLA @childrensla!" she said. "Their smiles are so full of life despite their current situation. They are an inspiration to me, moments like this give me strength and courage to move forward."
