Pablo Montero's "Mi Corazón Es Tuyo" character, Diego Lascurain, was essentially written off when Diego left Mexico for physical therapy, but as part of the big finale being promised by producer Juan Osorio, Diego and Montero are making their return.

Though there were rumors that there was trouble between Montero and Osorio, the actor has denied it, according to Notimex via El Universal.

"There were many speculations," he said. "My character has returned to the story as was expected, and I even recorded yesterday in snowy Toluca. They are impressive scenes shot on the snow."

Montero added it hurt him people speculate bad things about him and Osorio. He said the character was "beloved" by audiences, and he has worked on Diego very much.

He also wants to put the misunderstandings behind him. He explained he and Osorio have a strong friendship, stating the two have been friends "for many years."

Just like Osorio, Montero teased the surprised-filled finale, but he did not give any details.

Montero's return is not a complete surprise, as Osorio previously said it would be happening, according to TV Notas.

"The return of Pablo Montero is coming, many things and surprises that we are working on," he said. "The big finale we want to do in the Aztec Stadium, we are figuring out all the logistics; we are going to surprise the public with the finale because normally a novela ends with a wedding, and this won't end with a wedding."

Osorio hopes to make the finale an interactive experience.

Diario Basta reports Osorio wants some form of audience participation, though he didn't elaborate how it would happen.

It would not be the first time the show encourages the audience to discuss the show's plot on social media. The Christmas special kept asking viewers to share their opinion on Twitter.
