Where to Watch Super Bowl XLIV in Seattle: Bars & Events You Can Attend to Cheer on the Seahawks
If you are a Seahawks fan, you have to be excited to see your team in the Super Bowl for the second straight year.
Traveling to Phoenix sounds great, but if you would rather stay in Seattle with your hometown friends and family, there are plenty of places to watch the game.
Here are some bars sure to give you the Super Bowl Sunday experience.
Urbane Restaurant and Bar, 1639 8th Ave. in downtown Seattle, will give football fans a treat: happy hour all day. This means two draft beers for $6, Bloody Marys for $8 (all day), wings for $8 and 20-ounce draft beers and house bar snacks for $8. Grab your seats quickly. Urbane will set up tables and TVs at the bar and across the lobby at Urbane Market.
Just a few blocks up from Urbane is the Rhein Haus, 912 12th Ave. This German beer hall will have plenty of TVs (20) and also 24 beers on tap. The Rhein Haus will be serving brunch until 2 p.m. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. After brunch, happy hour prices kick in with $4 beers and $8 burgers on pretzel rolls made in house.
For an all-day, outdoor event, check out The Tailate. The Game. The Celebration. event being held by Frolik and Motif Seattle. There will be outdoor grilling, jello shots, Super Bowl commercial Bingo and a live DJ after the game. The event goes from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Plenty of TVs will be on hand during this unique party. Frolik is located at 1415 Fifth Ave. Also, a grand prize will be awarded to the most spirited fan, according to the event's Facebook page.
