Sean 'Diddy' Combs Allegedly Wanted for Questioning by Scottsdale, Arizona Police for Punching Drunk Fan at Super Bowl 2015 Party [Video]
Sean "Diddy" Combs is wanted for questioning by Scottsdale police after a man claimed the hip hop mogul and businessman attacked him during a Super Bowl party.
According to TMZ, Steven Donaldson alleges Combs punched him the face after being scolded for arriving after 1 a.m. for a party he was billed to be hosting. Donaldson further claims he paid $100 to attend the event and was angry Combs arrived late for the festivities then sat in the VIP section for most of the night.
Donaldson admits he got in Diddy's face, berating him and cursing him out. TMZ has since obtained video showing Donaldson confronting the rap star on several occasions, but the instance where he claims he was punched is not captured.
By the time police arrived, Combs had left the building, but Donaldson, clearly intoxicated, was still around to file a formal battery report. He also told police that security had thrown him out of the party.
Reportedly, Combs has yet to meet with investigators or comment on the incident.
This hardly marks the first time 45-year-old Combs has had potential run-ins with the law.
In 1999, Combs and then-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez were questioned about an early-morning triple shooting at a Manhattan nightclub. Both were criminally charged, but charges against Lopez were quickly dropped. New York police stopped the vehicle Combs and Lopez were traveling in around 2:30 a.m., and officers quickly discovered a stolen gun in the vehicle. Combs was later found not guilty on all the charges in 2001.
The multimillionaire entrepreneur rose to prominence largely based on his work with the late Notorious B.I.G., whose 1997 album "No Way Out" included such smash hits as "It's All About the Benjamins," "Can't Nobody Hold Me Down" and "I'll Be Missing You."
