Roman Reigns earned his title shot at Wrestlemania, but now he must take on Daniel Bryan at Fast Lane Feb. 22.

Reigns wants to get ready for Brock Lesnar, or the champion come Wrestlemania, but fans really wanted to see Bryan in the main event.

Unfortunately for Bryan fans, according to reports, WWE still plans to keep Reigns as the number one contender for the WWE Worldheavyweight Championship, Wrestlezone reports.

Reddit user MetsFan4Ever has proven himself as a WWE insider in the past and explained the WWE wants to please as many fans as they can by giving Bryan a chance. However, they are going to keep up with the Reigns angle.

MetsFan4Ever concludes the main reason that Bryan will face Reigns at Fast Lane is to get him ready for Lesnar. He adds the WWE's plan the whole time was for a Lesnar/Reigns main event at Wrestlemania.

Fans will be happy with Bryan getting a chance -- he was not given a fair shot when he was eliminated so early in the Royal Rumble. Now is his chance, even though he is headed for a loss.

As long as WWE makes the match competitive and showcases Reigns' talents and athleticism, the end of the match could result in a nice handshake, and Bryan presenting Reigns to the crowd and delivering a loud "YES!" bleacherReport concluded.

Other matches at Fast Lane:

Rusev vs. John Cena for the United States Title

Nikki Bella vs. Paige for the Divas Championship Title

There will be some tag team matches including a tag team title match.
