Microsoft wants you to know that it is perfectly fine to be mad at Siri.

The company is encouraging smartphone users to switch over to a better girlfriend, Cortana, through two new ads.

Microsoft's Cortana is the company's personal assistant, similar to Apple's Siri. In a new ad for the Microsoft Lumia 635, a man brags about his new girlfriend Cortana.

He says he is breaking up (with Siri) and he has found a new mate. Someone that knows him better, that reminds him to bring his wallet with him when he leaves the house and makes sure he is not late. The man is talking about Cortana.

He adds that Cortana makes him feel like a better person by the way she treats him.

Finally, he concludes that he would never go back to Siri.

The advertisement was one of two Valentine's Day ads for the new Lumia 635 smartphone that will come with the personal assistant Cortana.

In the other ad, viewers might seem a little confused as a woman seems to be revealing her sexuality on camera.

A woman tells viewers that she met someone "who brings out the best in her."

The woman adds all the benefits that Cortana has given her: making sure she is never lost, late or missing any appointments.

The ad concludes with the girl remembering what her father said when she told him that she had met someone else.

"Honey, we know. You were never an iPhone girl," the dad replied.

The two ads are definitely direct attacks at Apple from Microsoft. Microsoft is trying to convince smartphone buyers that their phones are smarter and have a more capable personal assistant than Apple's Siri.
