Goalkeeper Hope Solo could rejoin the United States Women's National Team in their preparation for the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup after serving a 30-day suspension.

According to Julie Foudy of ESPNW, Solo will likely meet with USWMNT coach Jill Ellis and U.S. Soccer president Sunil Gulati on Saturday to discuss her fate following an incident that led to her suspension.

Solo was handed a 30-day ban after her husband, former Seattle Seahawks tight end Jerramy Stevens, was arrested for DUI on Jan. 21 while driving a USWMNT team van. According to reports, Solo was with Stevens during the incident, which did not sit well with team officials.

Ellis and Gulati set conditions that Solo should complete during her 30-day suspension. Sources indicated the 33-year-old goalkeeper has already satisfied all conditions. While she has already completed all the requirements, it is still up to Ellis and Gulati if Solo will be allowed to join the USWMNT training camp.

Solo, who won the Golden Glove during the 2011 FIFA World Cup, also issued an apology to her coaches and teammates last month following the incident.

"I apologize for disappointing my teammates, coaches and the Federation who have always supported me," Solo said in a statement. "I think it's best for me to take a break, decompress from the stress of the last several months, and come back mentally and physically ready to positively contribute to the team."

Should the officials decide to reinstate Solo on Saturday, the star goalkeeper will fly with the team on Sunday to play for the USWMNT against Norway on March 4 at the Algarve Cup, which is a part of the team's major preparation for the upcoming World Cup in Canada. They will also face Switzerland and Iceland in the tournament.

Solo missed their recent friendly games due to the suspension. Ashlyn Harris took her spot during their 2-0 loss to France and 1-0 win against England.

The USWMNT will be one of the favorites to win the 2015 World Cup in June, which will take place in six cities in Canada. They will open their campaign against Australia on June 8 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. They will also collide with Sweden and Nigeria in Group D.
