"Married at First Sight" will take blind dating to the next level as Season 2 of the show premieres Tuesday March 17.

"In this social experiment, a team of experts combine their research with the hopes of matching three couples to get married at first sight," the description for the first episode of the second season reads according to FYI.

"The experts have narrowed down the pool of participants to just six singles, who they will research and investigate further and match with their ideal partner," the description continues. "Once the matches are made, the couples will have just ten days to prepare for their weddings without knowing anything about their future spouse, not even their names."

The couples are given the option to stay married or get divorced after five weeks of meeting each other.

In the first season, three couples were married and just one was divorced, ABC News reports.

The remaining two couples are now a part of the reality TV spinoff, "Married at First Sight: The First Year."

Doug Hehner and Jamie Otis went through their ups and downs two weeks into their marriage, but they toughed it out and moved into a New Jersey apartment together.

"I was still 50/50 and ... it's got to be hard to hear, 'I'm not in love with you,'" Otis said. "And he's like 'we've been married for -- have you ever been in love with someone in a month?' He was like 'give it time.'"

The couple is also talking about having kids and say they cannot imagine life without each other.

Yet, Cortney Hendrix and Jason Carrion said they felt an instant connection when they first met and had a blast during their first two weeks as newlyweds.

They too had some challenges in their relationship but were able to pull through after Carrion lost his mother to lung cancer.
