Lindsay Lohan Slammed for Photoshopping and Using Racial Slur in Instagram Photo
This week, Lindsay Lohan posted two controversial Instagram photos that stirred up much controversy and backlash from her followers and critics, Entertainment Tonight reports.
On Tuesday, March 10, Lohan attended Kanye West's performance during Paris Fashion Week and posted a photo of the rapper along with a caption with a racial slur.
"#kanye&kimAlldayn*gg*$," Lohan captioned the photo.
Lohan quickly deleted the caption. However her 3.1 million Instagram followers already caught wind of her inappropriate language and slammed her for it. "I love you but pls [sic] don't say the n word. Its [sic] such a problematic thing to do," Instagram user @supremelohan wrote, according to the Hollywood Life.
Another Instagram user @sarahloiskelly commented, "[J]ust when I thought my girl couldn't get any lower..." Following the backlash, a rep for Lohan issued a statement apologizing for the mishap, says the Daily Mail. Lohan's rep explained that Lohan was referencing a lyric in West's song titled, "All Day." "She is a friend of his, it is his new song, her intention was not to offend anyone and she apologizes!" the rep said.
A day later on March 11, Lohan posted yet another controversial photo that her fans and critics are claiming is severely photoshopped. In the photo that was taken at the Plaza Anthénée hotel in Paris, Lohan is shown posting with an all black body suit in front of her room door. Lohan informed fans via her caption, that she cropped out her feet in the photo because they appeared unusually red. But fans noticed another alteration in the controversial picture -- Lohan's butt.
E! News' Natalie Finn points out that the door in the photo "disappears and curves inward to match the curvature of her thigh and what may be the door frame or a curtain curves outward along with her butt."
Lohan's followers immediately took notice of the odd curvature of the door and slammed her for allegedly editing her photo make her butt look bigger.
But Lohan's rep has also addressed this backlash and insists that Lohan did not "tamper" with the photo.
"I assure you Lindsay has not tampered with the photo," her rep told E! News. "Nothing more than a filter or use of the upload program (as stated on the image in question) used to upload her candid."
