Being a new mom and a world famous country singer has left Carrie Underwood so pressed for time, the former "American Idol" winner has turned to joking she no longer even has the time to comb her hair.

Underwood recently took to Instagram to post a selfie of herself, messy hair and all, under the caption "no time to fix the hair today. Headband to the rescue."

Underwood also recently entered into a deal with sports giant retailer Dick's Sporting Goods to serve as the face of a new line of workout gear that also serves as everyday wear and the headband she donned for her selfie is part of her new CALIA by Carrie clothing line, prompting some to perhaps take her revelations with a grain of promotional salt. But there's no doubt the Grammy award-winner has her hands filled caring for young Isaiah Michael Fisher.

The "Something in the Water" singer, who recently celebrated her 32nd birthday, saw her fitness line hit store shelves just a week after her son was born, making this even more of a hectic, yet satisfying time in her life.

"The inspiration for this line came from my desire to have clothes that seamlessly take me from workouts, to errands, to rehearsals and beyond," she said in a press release, according to E! News. "As someone who is passionate about health and fitness, I'm excited to offer women a wardrobe that will move with them and encourage them to stay the path of leading an active lifestyle."

Underwood married NHL player Mike Fisher in July of 2010. Since winning "American Idol" in 2005, her biggest hits have included "Jesus Take the Wheel" and "Before He Cheats."

Underwood has also won seven Grammys, 16 Billboard Music Awards, eleven Academy of Country Music Awards and eight American Music Awards.
