‘Arrow’ & ‘The Flash’ Cast News, Updates: CW Stars Say Which Superhero Costume They'd Like to Wear
E! News recently caught up with the cast members of CW's "Arrow " and "The Flash" to talk about their elaborate costumes on their hit CW shows.
The actors were asked to name what superhero costume they would like to try on other than their own.
"I'm partial to Caity Lotz as Canary because Maya Mani, who does all the costumes, other than mine and Grant's costume, once we got into the series Maya has done every single costume since then and the Canary's costume was her first real crack at it and she nailed it," Stephen Amell told E! News. "I'm partial to that one because that got us on the right foot."
Meanwhile, Candice Patton named the Reverse Flash costume has her own personal favorite.
And though Patton favors the Reverse Flash costume, she revealed that she is dying to try on the Black Canary outfit.
"[The Black Canary] is the ultimate power woman suit. It's the closest I could probably feel to Catwoman, who I would die to play, so that's probably my favorite. I love it, Patton said.
Colton Hayes named Arsenals costume as his favorite while Grant Gustin displayed preference over the Atom costume, E! News reports.
According to Entertainment Weekly, CW is in the midst of developing a new "The Flash" and "Arrow" spin-off series that is executive produced by Andrew Kreisberg and Greg Berlanti, as well as Marc Guggenheim.
"For me, it honors all of the great team up movies, whether it's 'Ocean's Eleven' or whether it's the superhero books," Berlanti told Entertainment Weekly about the new series. "That's what it's about. If you go back to the old westerns, there would be The Lone Gunman, but there would also be 'The Magnificent Seven.' It's very much in the spirit of those kinds of movies and shows."
CW has yet to announce a date for the spin-off's release. EW reports that Robbie Amell might not be part of the new series' cast.
When asked to share the reason for Amell's absence, Berlanti insisted that he cannot say why.
