ABC has recently released the synopsis for the upcoming episode of "Once Upon a Time" titled "Best Laid Plans," and here's what to expect.

The synopsis, obtained by Carter Matt, reveals Hook warns Emma that her fate is in jeopardy and Regina leads the villains on a "wild goose chase."

Meanwhile, Henry makes an important discovery in his search to find Author and Mary and David are left to plan the best way to confront Author.

"Best Laid Plans" also includes a flashback of Snow and Charming searching for a way to make sure that their son will grow up to be a hero. In the flashback, viewers watch as a traveling peddler directs Snow and Charming to an old hermit that presents them with an opportunity to ensure that their child will have heroic qualities.

However, the hermit warns them that their child's abilities will come at a price that will haunt them for many years.

On the Flix also suggests that the episode will show Emma Swan's reaction to finding out that her parents are not as kind as they seem. Emma will be left with the choice of remaining kind-spirited or choose a path of evil.

But based off the show's promo trailer, Emma might lead towards a road of destruction after she is shown telling Mary Margaret that she doesn't care that she is her mother.

Based on what is written in the "Best Laid Plans" teaser obtained by the On the Flix, this episode will be very intense and dramatic.

The official teaser reads, "How far would you go to protect your loved ones? A revelation that will destroy a family."
