Argentina and El Salvador will play each other in a much-anticipated soccer game on Saturday afternoon.

Arguably the best player in the world, Lionel Messi, will be on the field in this game. Both countries are located in Latin America, but this game will take place at the Washington Redskins NFL stadium near the United States capital.

Latin Post previews the teams and predicts who will win:

Argentina (2)

The Argentina National Team comes in ranked No. 2 in the world behind only Germany, who won the 2014 FIFA World Cup against them in Brazil. This will be Argentina's first friendly since November when they lost to Portugal, 1-0. Coach Gerardo Martino will also have to prepare for an international friendly on Tuesday against Ecuador.

Some potentially bad news for Argentina and Barcelona fans: Lionel Messi has been listed as "questionable," and may not be in the starting lineup against El Salvador. Messi has been the best La Liga player this season leading the Spanish Premier division in both goals and assists. Carlos Tevez, Sergio Aguero and Ezequiel Lavezzi will be the other starting forwards for Argentina.

This Argentina squad is very young and talented, and you can bet they already have their sights on the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Sergio Romero will get the start in net with Nahuel Guzmán as his backup.

Javier Mascherano leads the middle fielders along with Angel di Maria, Lucas Biglia, Ever Banega, Javier Pastore, Enzo Perez, and Roberto Pereyra. The biggest thing to watch will be Argentina's young defense. Outside of Pablo Zabaleta and Marcos Rojo, some questions still remain.

El Salvador (89)

The El Salvador National Team presently ranks No. 89 in the world, and No. 10 in CONCACAF. The small Latin American soccer nation of less than seven million people hasn't made a single World Cup appearance since 1982, but they full remember how that played out. Argentina defeated and thus eliminated El Salvador from the World Cup in a group stage game with a 2-0 victory.

El Salvador coach Albert Roca previously served as the Barcelona assistant head coach from 2003 to 2008. Maybe he remembers a few things about Messi and his style of play on the field.

Coach Roca has decided to give goalkeeper Derby Carrillo the start in net over Henry Hernandez. Team captain Andres Flores of the New York Cosmos leads the middle fielders with Jaime Alas and Arturo Alvarez. Rafael Burgos is the team's most skilled forward.

Just like Argentina, El Salvador will also be playing another friendly on Tuesday, against Guatemala.

Schedule, Where to Watch

Argentina and El Salvador will play one another on Saturday, March 28, at 4:20 p.m. EST at FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland. The game will be televised on the beIN Sports Network. You can watch a live game stream here.

Predictions

El Salvador will give it everything they have, and focus on stopping Messi to the fullest. But in the end, Argentina is just too much to handle, especially for a squad like El Salvador. El Salvador knows they have much work to do to improve their rankings in the CONCACAF confederation.

Argentina wins 3-1
