Marvel 'Avengers 2 'Age of Ultron' Spoilers, Characters & Cast News: New Trailer Reveals a More 'Bad-ass' Black Widow While Iron Man Turns Up the Lovable Sarcasm (VIDEO)
A new, extended trailer has been released for Marvel's "Avengers: Age of Ultron" and it shows off Scarlett Johansson's a.k.a. The Black Widow's bad-ass side with a new action sequence with Captain America and why we love Iron Man so much for his adorable looks and wonderful sarcasm.
Iron Man (played by Robert Downey Jr.) turns up the humor and sarcasm when "the boss" is addressed. He says: "Actually, he's the boss. I just pay for everything, design everything and make everyone look cooler."
Then each of "Earth's Mightiest Heroes" gets a chance to shine in the spotlight with scenes dedicated to each character showing off their skills in the new film, which hits theaters on May 1.
In the new extended trailer, "Avengers" fans get to see Black Widow (played by Johansson) and Captain America (played by Chris Evans) team up to fight Ultron (James Spader), which hasn't been seen before.
"I'm going in, can you keep them occupied?" says Black Widow who helps turns up the intensity and fierce female power.
Captain America is impressed with Black Window's skills and proudly states: "She's with us."
This isn't the first time both Evans and Johansson have teamed up to battle villains, either. The pair worked hand-in-hand in last year's "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" when they fought a newly-resurrected HYDRA and Cap's friend-turned-foe Bucky Barnes a.k.a. The Winter Soldier.
We also get a glimpse of Ultron in his final form -- "the version where the A.I. robot has coated himself in Vibranium -- which is why he's able to take blows from Cap's shield without necessarily being damaged," Screenrant points out.
"This specific plot element is also noteworthy because it will introduce Black Panther's home nation of Wakanda (where Vibranium is extracted). Hence, there will be a handy explanation for how Ultron 'levels up' and becomes increasingly powerful -- one that pulls double-duty by paving the way for the debut of T'Challa/Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman)."
"Avengers: Age of Ultron" also stars Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Don Cheadle, Elizabeth Olsen, Samuel L. Jackson, Jeremy Renner and Lou Ferrigno, among others.
"Avengers: Age of Ultron" hits theaters May 1, 2015. Check out the new, extended trailer.
