In the eighth episode of Season 6 on "Community," titled "Intro to Recycled Cinema," the crew comes together to help a friend in need.

According to the IMDB, Abed (Danny Pudi) has an unfinished film that he needs help with completing. Jeff (Joel McHale), Frankie (Paget Brewster) and her friend all step up and commit to the task, helping him finish the movie in classic "Community" style comedic fashion.

In the Yahoo preview for the episode, which uploads every Tuesday on Yahoo, their help is boundless in comedic humor as they try their best to make the film Abed envisioned, but the laughs still keep coming. The school owns the movie, which features the "Hamgirl" guy, and Abed quickly demands rights to final cut with the provisions that it has to be a good movie.

The movie, which is titled "Chief Starr and the Raiders of the Galaxy," stars Jeff Winger as the Mayor of Outer Space and seems to convey that he is in some capacity the captain of the ship in which the characters are traveling.

It even features special effects reminiscent of the "Star Wars" sound effects and oddball creatures. Annie Edison (Alison Brie) also puts in her appearance as a sexy sci-fi type heroine in which she commands other people in the ship to get to the escape pod, comically conveying her flamboyance and sexuality in a highly revealing one piece dress. They are seen squaring off in a laser gun battle with robots and all the clichés inherent in old (and new) sci-fi flicks.

In an interview with Variety, Paget Brewster revealed her thoughts and feelings about joining the cast of "Community" for the sixth season.

"It's exhilarating. It's also scary. The cast has had five years together," Brewster told Variety. "I want to do right by the scripts and make them happy that I'm here. And I'm just hoping the fans accept me. As a fan, I've watched shows when I'm like, 'Who's this? I just want my friends. I don't want this new person.' Hopefully they'll warm to me if they don't like me right away. I'm just a ball of fear. Typical actress."
