'Bones' Season 10 Finale Spoilers: Booth Starts Gambling, Arastoo in Kidnapped [Watch]
Fans can look forward to an intense and dramatic season finale of "Bones" this Thursday when Brennan and Booth hit a rough patch in their marriage and Arastoo gets kidnapped.
A preview video of the episode, which is titled "The Murder in the Middle East," shows that Booth's gambling addiction will cause a rift between him and Brennan. Instead of confessing about falling back into an old habit, it appears Booth will lie to Brennan about gambling, which will only make the situation worst.
"Are you gambling?" Brennan asked Booth in the promo.
"No, I'm not," Booth responded sternly.
"Without the truth," she replied, "we have nothing."
In addition, the Jeffersonian Team will go on the hunt for a suspect who kidnaps Arastoo while he is overseas in the Middle East.
Executive producer Steven Nathan also dropped spoilers about the finale, revealing that it was a challenge to write.
"It was a bit of fancy footwork, because we had to write a finale that was both a season and series finale from which we could return," Nathan told TVLine.
When asked if it will end with a cliffhanger, he responded, "I don't know if you could say it's a cliffhanger, but there's a cliff. There's an emotional cliff, and a big bad from the past resurfaces in a way that is surprising."
According to CarterMatt, the official synopsis reads as follows:
"Arastoo is kidnapped by a member of the Iranian parliament to help him with a murder case, so Booth and Cam head to the Middle East to expose the killer before it's too late. Meanwhile, Brennan is concerned about Booth's gambling habit, and asks Aubrey to protect her and Christine from her husband's bookie."
"Bones" will air Episode 19 of Season 10, "The Murder in the Middle East," on Thursday, May 8 at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.
