2013 is a mash-up of good, bad and saddening events that left people baffled with a whole lot of emotions.

The celebrity world welcomed a lot of babies in the year 2013. Jennifer Love Hewitt welcomed Autumn James Hallisay November 26 with partner Brian Hallisay. Halle Berry and Oliver Martinez welcomed a baby boy on October 5 while Fergie and Josh Duhamel welcomed theirs in late August. A baby boy was also endowed to Glee star Heather Morris and her longtime boyfriend, Taylor Hubbell.

Speaking of Glee, the whole industry mourned the sudden passing of Glee star Cory Monteith who gained much popularity playing Finn Hudson. Monteith was found dead in a Vancouver hotel room. The late Glee star was only 31 years old.

Death also came upon 'Fast and Furious' actor Paul Walker after being involved in a car crash late this year in California. Walker was only 40 years old and was supposed to finish filming the seventh installment of the 2015 movie.

On a lighter but nonetheless sad note for Jelena fans, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez broke up this year. The 3-year relationship of the then 17 and 19 year-old super stars apparently couldn't handle intense pressure from their careers, fans and the media.

Finally, former Disney star Miley Cyrus made news big time with her on and off relationship with Hunger Games hunk, Liam Hemsworth and her out of this world performance in several shows.

Miley and Liam met each other on set in 2009, called it quits twice and made up in a span of one year. It wasn't until June of 2012 that the couple finally seemed to be serious with the relationship and announced their engagement.

This year however, the two headed to splitsville for good. Rumor has it that Liam couldn't take Miley's raunchy performance at the MTV VMA with Robin Thicke. The performance was one of the most talked about this year and consisted of twerking, grinding and Miley's apparent obsession with her tongue.

Her VMA performance was not in vain though as she was later named MTV Artist of the Year 2013. Aside from the award, the former Disney star also holds the best viewed video on Vevo's Youtube account with 'Wrecking Ball.' Miley's 'Wrecking Ball' video had her stark naked, propped on top of a swinging metal ball and in some parts, licking a sledge hammer.

Her recently released 'Adore You' music video is also gathering a steady stream of followers. Several reports have labeled the video 'racy' with the singer doing all sorts of things underneath the sheets. Watch Miley's newest and soon-to-be most talked about video below.
