The NFC East has always been the most intriguing division throughout NFL history. This division has been the single most successful division of all-time with a league leading 12 Super Bowl wins, no thanks to the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants clearly have the two best quarterbacks in the division, Eli Manning and Tony Romo. But who is better? Both of these quarterbacks are mobile and they have benefited from great wide receivers.

Let's compare the two great quarterbacks and vote.

Why Tony Romo is Better

The numbers pretty much speak for themselves. Romo is superior to Manning in most statistical categories. Romo has a higher completion percentage, touchdown percentage and throws significantly fewer interceptions.

Romo has never thrown 20 interceptions in a season despite being an undrafted player. Manning, who is a former No. 1 overall draft pick, has thrown 20 or more interceptions in a season three times. In all three of those seasons, Manning led the league in interceptions.

Romo may not have as many playoff wins as Manning, but one can't fault him because the Cowboys just haven't had the defense to compete for a championship. Last year Romo led the Cowboys to a 12-3 record (he missed one game) while the Giants suffered their second consecutive losing season. As far as clutch play is concerned, Romo has 14 game-winning drives over the last three seasons, whereas Manning has just six.

It should also be mentioned that Romo led the entire NFL in passer rating and QBR last season as the Cowboys took the division.

Romo has a career passer rating of 97.6. Manning sits at 82.4. Romo's regular season win percentage is 61 percent while Manning's is just 54 percent.

Why Eli Manning is Better

For New York Giants fans, two and eight is really what matters. Romo can have his flashy Fantasy Football stats every week, but Manning has what really counts. Manning has guided the Giants to two Super Bowls and eight playoff victories, one of which was as a wild card team.

Manning has outperformed Romo in crunch time when it matters most in the postseason. In the only meeting between Romo and Manning in the playoffs, the Giants were victorious at Cowboys stadium, 21-17 as the underdog. Manning went on to throw two touchdowns and zero interceptions while Romo threw the game-losing interception at the end.

Manning hasn't just outplayed Romo head-to-head, but his two performances in the big game (both against the New England Patriots) have earned him two Super Bowl MVP awards.

Manning also bests Romo in stability. Manning hasn't missed a single game since his rookie year of 2004. He currently sits in third place for the most consecutive starts by a quarterback behind only Peyton Manning and Brett Favre. Romo has dealt with more injuries and he is slightly older.

Manning has more career passing yards, passing touchdowns and passing yards per game than Romo.
