In April, rumors began that Machine Gun Kelly was dating Amber Rose after photos surfaced of the pair holding hands in public. On another occasion, she went to pick him up at an airport, and the two were photographed getting cozy as they waited for his suitcases at baggage claim.

Kelly and Rose have remained silent about their relationship. That is until Wednesday morning when Kelly all but confirmed the two are dating during an interview on Hot 97's "Ebro in the Morning."

Although rumors claim that the relationship is a publicity stunt, Kelly was adamant that the attraction between him and Rose came about naturally.

"I'll say it like this... everything was completely natural," Kelly told Hot 97's Ebro Darden. "Um, it wasn't anything that I had expected, or had planned, or anything like that. When the universe throws something your way, things happen. I am one of those people who goes with it."

The Cleveland rapper went on to say that he struggles with the relationship since he is anti-spotlight and Rose likes the spotlight.

When "Ebro in the Morning" co-host Laura Stylez asked the "Black Flag" rapper what he thought about fans who said he "sold out" to a high profile relationship with Rose, Kelly said, "Well, the act of selling out is doing something you don't believe in because of money or because of fame. I don't need to be more famous."

It seemed Kelly was about to say something else when Darden politely asked if he could make a point.

"But he does need -- as all men do -- something as amazing as an Amber Rose. There is no selling out in that," Darden said.

Kelly acknowledged that he does receive "flack" from "people unknowing of the situation" about dating Rose.

In the video clip, Kelly details a moment he and Rose shared while on set of his latest film "Nerve."

The rapper-turned-actor has been in New York filming "Nerve" alongside Dave Franco and Emma Roberts. "Nerve" is about a high school student who is immersed in an online game of truth of dare, where her every move starts to be manipulated by an anonymous community of "watchers."
