The cast of the hit period drama "Reign" on the CW has fans all over the place with where Season 2 left off. There are burning questions for this medieval show that keeps viewers tensely locked to their TV screens and wondering where things are going next.

In an interview with Seat42F, the show's stars Adelaide Kane, Torrance Coombs, Jonathan Keltz and Sean Teale fielded a few questions from the online publication in regards to the destinies of their characters and how things may play out next season.

In regards to Bash's alliance with the kingdom of France, Coombs said that both France and Mary are on the table. He said that Bash, specifically to Mary, "would follow her wherever she may go."

The dramatic suspense is not just around alliances and political futures that are influenced by love; the relationship between Greer and Leith has taken a commanding lead in the series and fans have been heartbroken to find that she has rejected him.

"I think this the second time he has asked her to marry him and, unfortunately, this is the second time she has turned him down. I think that her place at court will sort of be in and out," Keltz said.

"She's definitely got a presence at court now, but she is still running her business. Her passion for the business means she is certainly not going to say 'no' to it for anybody, even Queen Mary. So I that she is going to be very much involved with everybody with what she's going on and Leith is definitely involved in his new job and career, as well as bodyguard to the princess."

Adelaide Kane's character, Mary, has endured quite a bit last season. But now that Queen Elizabeth has made an appearance, she told Seat42F that next year has some exciting possibilities ahead.

"I am very excited. I am excited to have another lady on board. Somebody new to ask to come out to dinner with me," Kane said.

"It's going to be good, and with any luck I'll have a little bit more time off and I'll actually be able to make my yoga classes. It will be nice to play with my cat instead of just dragging him to work. So I'm excited to see what they do with Elizabeth."

Sean Tele also dished that in Louis' return to the show is in the hand of the writers at this point. He also said that a new contract for him has not been finalized. He believes the romance between Conde and Mary will not fade.
