Riri loves NYC and now that she bought a nearly $15 million penthouse in SoHo she is here to stay. The "Pour it Up" singer hit the streets of New York last night in a black coat, black scarf and black hat. The superstar took selfies of herself walking through the bright streets of Time Square.

What better way then Ri's way of staying warm by smoking a little joint as she embarked on her sight seeing adventure? Rihanna has said over and over again that she is no one's role model. So the Barbado's native chooses to live a young and... well... free life full of doing whatever she wants. So what if some things might be illegal, she "runs this town," doesn't she?

Rihanna has chosen to leave sunny L.A for the bipolar weather in irreplaceable NYC, and she seems to be loving her decision. After having some trouble with a house purchased on the West Coast, Ri has let it all go and started a new year on the other side of the U.S., the good old East Side. Plus, who wants to hang around their ex and new girlfriend, right? Chris Brown, who is currently in rehab, does live in the Hollywood Hills along with current girlfriend Karrueche Tran.

I must admit that my favorite Rihanna Instagram post of 2014 is the "Don't Let Anyone With Bad Eyebrows Tell You S*** About Life". Firm believer of eyebrows here and the caption "Tip of the day or nah? ....I literally can't see/hear/say the word #Eyebrows without thinking of that kid from The Millers!" makes this pic certified awesome.
