Sunset EDM Music Festival 2015: Juanes, DJ Cedric Gervais & Hulk Hogan Entertain 30,000 Fans
Leave it up to two Grammy-winning artists such as Colombian rock star Juanes and world renowned DJ Cedric Gervais to create "Spanish-language fusion uniting the worlds of EDM (electronic dance music) and Latin rock."
Then to top off this cool genre, the talented duo gave thousands of EDM fans a surprise live taste of the action by performing "Este Amor" during The Sunset Music Festival. Then to further top it off, Tampa's shining star Hulk Hogan also introduced DJ Cedric Gervais, busted a move on stage, and went on to play fight with Juanes!
Needless to say, thousands of Tampa, Florida concert-goers were more than pumped to see Juanes and Hogan appear on stage as well.
DJ Cedric Gervais introduced the Colombian superstar before a crowd of almost 30,000, and listed off Juanes' many accomplishments (among them having sold millions of albums and won more Latin Grammys than we can count) -- but not before shouting '¿Donde está mi gente Latina?' according to Billboard.
"The crowd instantly went wild as Juanes took the stage to perform 'Este Amor,'" Billboard adds. "The track starts off showcasing Juanes' vocals and slowly builds to an ethereal, fist-pumping climax."
"The opening day of Sunset 2015 brought a couple of huge surprises -- Colombian rock singer Juanes and Tampa's own Hulk Hogan, who both held court on the main stage during a set by Cedric Gervais," added the Tampa Bay Times.
"Gervais pulled out all the stops for his SMF debut, having Hogan introduce him (and dance onstage throughout his set) and bringing out Juanes for a live premiere of their single 'Este Amor.' Fans in the crowd waved Colombian flags as Juanes emerged from backstage with a microphone."
Meanwhile, Billboard has selected Juanes' current "Loco de Amor Tour" as one of "this summer's four biggest tours to watch," highlighting the Latin superstar alongside The Rolling Stones, The Who and J. Cole.
Check out the concert listing for Juanes' "Loco De Amor Tour," which will also feature a special guest opening performance by Ximena Sariñana.
